Who Am I, and Why Should You Pull Up a Chair?

I’m John, the heart behind JBG Office Hours. I’m a business and startup coach with over 35 years of nonlinear experience (yes, that’s a nice way of saying I’ve zig-zagged through a lot of startups, companies and industries—and learned plenty along the way). I’ve held both right-brain and left-brain doer and leadership roles—creative director one day, marketing operations strategist the next. If business were a dance, I’d be your cha-cha-cha and your Excel spreadsheet.

I’m also a proud INFJ—meaning I’m wired to care deeply, listen intently, and spot your hidden potential faster than you can say “pivot.” My superpower is blending strategy with soul and experience, helping you align your business with your values, strengths, and long-term vision.
